Soy and your heart
Soy protein lowers blood cholesterol. A meta-analysis (a study that combines the results from many different research studies) found that soy protein lowered cholesterol by just over 9%, which translates into a 27% lower risk for heart attack.
When you ditch the meat you also ditch the saturated fat and cholesterol. If you have not tried a meatless burger in a while, try one now. They have really improved the taste. Pass the mustard and pickles!
A delicate subject...your prostate

Hot dog!
Try meatless sausage, bacon and hot dogs. There is even a meatless Buffalo chicken wing that is wicked good with spicy barbecue sauce. Tofu makes a great replacement for ricotta cheese in stuffed shells or lasagna. Impress your significant other with homemade mousse for dessert. Just whip a box of silken tofu with 1/2 cup sugar, and 3 peeled peaches or a mango in a blender. This is so much easier than baking a cake. Try it!
